ecop was honored with the TRIGOS Award in the “Climate protection” category. The TRIGOS is the most prestigious award for sustainability and corporate responsibility in Austria and was presented for the 20th time. The TRIGOS is awarded by many high-ranking institutions and organizations.
More than 300 high-profile guests from business, politics and civil society celebrated the 20th TRIGOS award ceremony with a gala event at the Liechtenstein Garden Palace. ecop won in the “Climate protection” category, stating: “The jury is impressed by the company’s technological achievements, but also by its perseverance and persuasiveness.”
Federal President van der Bellen emphasized in his video message: “Companies that have won the TRIGOS are not only pioneers, but also role models for others. They have shown that sustainable business is a model for success. Companies that operate sustainably not only act responsibly, but are also more resilient and have a positive impact on society and the environment”.
The gala was attended by top politicians such as Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler, Minister LeonoreGewessler (Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation & Technology), Minister Martin Kocher (Federal Ministry of Labor and Economy) and Minister Johannes Rauch (Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection). In addition to politics and business, respact, the Austrian Red Cross, the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Austrian Industries, the Environmental Umbrella Organization and Caritas are also sponsors.
