It was already the 31st time the „Environmental Magazine“ awarded the prestigous environmental technology prize „Daphne“ on October 13th 2016. The award ceremony was conducted under the patronage of WKO and the Raiffeisen Climate Protection Initiative in TechGate before a top-class audience. ecop and its ROTATION HEAT PUMP won out against over 30 applicants und was given the Daphne in gold. DDR. Gabriele Ambros, General Manager of Bohmann-Verlag: “The high level of the projects presented didn´t make it easy for the jury under my presidency to decide. Ultimately we rated the best projects fairly consistent.“ It was particularly emphasized that the ROTARY HEAT PUMP saves large amounts of CO2 and uses a non-toxic refrigerant.
